DON AND PAM KEARBY

Kearby Family      Don and Pam Kearby serve as EPC World Outreach missionaries based in the Denver Metro area.  Don works as the Western Associate for Missions Advancement on behalf of the denomination.  The Associate role involves several areas of focus, including the following:
  • To help local EPC churches understand and participate in the Engage 2025 vision of the denomination;
  • To increase the awareness among local EPC churches of existing EPC missionaries and their projects;
  • To develop a prayer network for EPC mission initiatives in the Presbytery of the West and the the forthcoming Presbytery of the Pacific; and
  • To help recruit missionaries for these EPC initiatives.

      Don serves World Outreach in the Presbytery of the West and the forthcoming Presbytery of the Pacific.  Two other Associates will serve other regions of the U.S.: Rev. Phil Thrash will serve the eastern U.S., and Austin and Beverly McCaskill will serve the central U.S.  Please contact Don for more information about EPC World Outreach ministries.  You can also get in touch with him to talk about networking with other EPC churches on mission initiatives or to have him work with your mission team in developing or expanding your outreach or mission ministry.  Don is also available for you if you are considering missionary service in the future.   Contact Don either via this
e-mail link, or call him at:   303.740.2066 (home), or 720.838.1721 (cell).

     Don received Christ as Lord and Savior in his junior year of high school and grew stronger through his college years despite a variety of challenges to his faith. He attended Denver Seminary and graduated in 1994 with a Master of Divinity Degree (World Christianity emphasis). He was ordained in the Presbytery of the West in May of 1995. Don and Pam joined OC International that same year and served in Kenya from 1996 to 2009. Don accepted a call as part-time pastor at Cornerstone Community Church starting in January of 2010 and will be in a dual role with the church and EPC World Outreach.

    Pam grew up with knowledge of God and Jesus through her church, but it was not until after college that she accepted the Lord as her Savior. She graduated in 1983 from the University of Kansas with a BS degree in Occupational Therapy. She did several short-term mission trips before she and Don entered long-term service in Kenya.

    Don and Pam met at the singles group at Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church and were married in April of 1989.  While attending Denver Seminary, Trinity EPC (now GracePoint Community Church) became their home church.  GracePoint was their main supporting church during their thirteen years with OC International in Kenya.  They have three children Austin (17), Elianna (12) and Michelle (9)
