some resources to assist in reducing those tensions:
- The EPC has a
Missionary Care Ministry specifically directed toward
assisting missionaries. This ministry is led by
Jim and Barbie Murphy. Find out much more about

- The FamilyLife
organization, affiliated with CRU (formerly known as
of Campus Crusade for Christ) sponsors Weekend to Remember
Conferences. The per person rates vary
from $150 - $175 depending on location. The rate
is for registration only and does include meals or
hotel expenses. Discounts are available for full
time pastors and missionaries. Scholarships funds in
addition to the discounted rate may be available by

- Christian counseling
for couples is available through Southwest Counseling
Associates in Littleton, Colorado. SCA
provides clinically proven, biblically sound
counseling for pastors and church staff members. Many
of our therapists have pastoral and ministry
experience, and can offer empathy, encouragement and
insights reflecting both their training and their
