- FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY works in more than 26 developing countries. This
organization provides disaster and emergency relief, and implements
sustainable development programs to transform communities physically
and spiritually. At least one congregation in the presbytery has had a
substantial involvement with this organization, including a pastor
spending two years in the eastern Congo and members of the congregation
participating in several construction trips nearby communities in
